Mid Century Modern Transformation

We worked with the architect designing the interior of the space, working with preserving some original stunning architectural elements while modernizing this original Mid Century marvel. Working with the back facing views overlooking a valley, we wanted to bring the tranquility of that view in and created an entire back wall of windows, flooding the interior with light during the day, and capturing sunset colors at dusk.

We brought new life into the home with cohesive, clean finishes running the wide plank hardwoods throughout, picking up the natural colors of the existing historic limestone fireplace, and brining in soft and calm-colored, handmade ceramic tiles in the bathroom areas. The furnishings balanced the hard lines of the architecture bringing in organic and soft curves.
